This market leading distribution company is seeking a commercially minded Sales Office Manager to head up the sales team. This is a key role within the business so you will already have a proven track record in sales, managing a team and working with the Senior Management team to take the business to its next growth phase.



As a Sales Office Manager you will be responsible for managing both the internal sales support staff and the field based sales team, and also have your own territory to develop. Ideally you will have a proven track record in sales so fully understand what is required to effectively deliver within a target driven sales environment.



You will be joining an established business that has consistently outperformed its competitors over the last three years. Owned by a global manufacturer within a specialist sector, the business has built up a credible profile with customers and suppliers alike, delivering top quality service and products across the UK branch network.



The Sales Office Manager will be able to think at a strategic level, yet be hands on in terms of effectively managing the day to day running of the sales teams, and managing your own client portfolio. You will be astute, numerate, profit driven and ambitious to make a difference and drive your career forward.



You will be joining a new team in the Weybridge offices, so this is a great opportunity to prove yourself and make a difference in this next phase of the business. You will work closely with the Branch Manager, so you will have the gravitas to operate at senior management level, bringing ideas and expertise within this B2B sector to add value to the sales and marketing strategy.



You will have the passion to succeed and the drive to deliver results. Leading by example you will establish credibility with both internal and external sales teams (between 5 - 7 staff). You will have excellent interpersonal skills, combined with leadership qualities. Areas of responsibility will include overseeing all sales activity, optimising ROI and branch activity and maintaining the high levels of customer service already established by the business.
