This leading market research organisation with a niche specialism within the Travel Retail sector is looking for a graduate Account Executive to join their virtual team.


The organisation has carved a niche for itself over the last 20 years providing insight into consumer buying patterns and trends across the globe for leading FMCG brands. Working across 70 countries and 100 airports you will be building up client relationships with well known high street and luxury brands to identify consumer habits and predicting trends in consumer goods.  Indeed the market research is recognised as being the ‘eyes and ears’ of the travel retail industry.


The Account Executive will be involved in working with a portfolio of brands. So you will managing the full marketing mix including product pricing, promotional activity and monitoring its uptake, using consumer buying data and patterns to make recommendations to your clients with regards to their future tactical marketing activity.


The Account Executive will work with the database of existing consumers, to profile and segment buying behaviour and consumer data for use by the clients who can then develop in-store promotional activity. The brand data is downloaded from the retailers in ‘real time’, so it will be important for retailers to use the insight quickly to ensure they react to market demands and trends.
 

You will be a graduate with a degree in business, marketing, or the humanities. You will be numeric and able to analyse data making sense of it and in turn putting together reports and recommendations for your clients. You will therefore be confident in writing reports and giving presentations to your clients, pitching in ideas and results from your findings.
 

The Account Executive will possess great interpersonal skills and be able to foster relationships with all levels of client from Product Managers to Senior Buyers and Marketers.
 

The role involves both UK and international travel, so it will suit someone who is passionate about travelling and working with a diverse mix of cultures.
